Anxiety and stress are the body’s natural response to danger and to threats.

Anxiety and fear come in many different forms. Some people experience short sharp intense bursts of anxiety or panic (referred to as panic attacks). Others can experience persistent anxious feelings for hours or even days. Anxiety as a human experience is completely natural, we need to experience anxiety in the right situations to stimulate avoidance behaviour. Unfortunately many people experience anxiety in non-threatening situations, like a party, a meeting or when making a sales call on a phone.

There is another type of anxiety which is referred to as G.A.D (generalised anxiety disorder) which is a low level anxiety which is constantly present.

Prolonged anxiety can cause mental and physical breakdown leading to illness and disease, which to my mind make it the world’s most dangerous condition. Anxiety is widespread through our communities and is at the heart of 95% of the issues I help people with.
